Have you ever had someone make you feel like you were "weird" because you were single and happy?

Do you get upset when people look at you and say, "now why are you single?"

It feels as though society does not accept those who willingly chose to be single, but if you are desperate for a man/women and willing to do anything....you will fit right in!

Not that there is anything wrong with being open to finding someone, but how far are you willing to go to fit into the " I got a man or woman group?"

I know that sometimes it gets kind of boring going out to the movies and out to eat all the time by yourself....but hooking up with someone just to avoid going out by yourself is just plain desperate.

Learn how to be okay with you....and I mean really take time to learn how to enjoy being with you! If you find someone you are making a connection with and things are going good....Great.

But don't compromise your standards or beliefs just to have a special hanging partner for the weekend or to have someone to go to cook-outs and weddings with.

Be happy if you are single and enjoy all the things people in relationships don't get to enjoy anymore. Stop thinking you have to be with someone to BE someone!

Being desperate leads to making bad decisions....decisions you will have to live with for the rest of your life. We all feel lonely at times, but getting a man or woman to "cure" your loneliness will only lead to more loneliness. This person will never be able to make you happy and satisfied all the time, no one can.

You have to find a life you are happy with, and if that means taking your time to find someone great, then so be it. It will be well worth it in the end.

If you want a great relationship with a great person, then come into the relationship happy and whole. Your single life is the time to become that person. Relationships are much more successful when two people come together to share their happiness with each other, instead of depending on the other person to make you happy.

We all have choices to make in life....You can chose to be happy while being single....or, you can chose to be desperate and lonely. Which one will you choose?
