The singer opens up to 'British Vogue' on why she loves her current status

People who listen to Adele may be awesome at dating, but that doesn't mean the singer is!

The 23-year-old is at the top of her game, with her hit song, "Rolling In The Deep" still ruling the airwaves, and audiences buzzing about her performance at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards. So it's no surprise that the British beauty is not ready to start anything romantically at the moment.

As the cover girl for British Vogue's October issue (via Just Jared), Adele opens up to the magazine about being comfortable with her single status. "I do get massively distracted when I've got someone in my life, which I can't afford to do right now," she says. "Besides, no one treats me as well as I do."

This isn't hard to believe, as many of Adele's songs are about the heartbreak her exes have caused. "You had my heart inside your hand / And you played it to the beat," are not happy-go-lucky lyrics about a past relationship that ended well.

But don't call the singer a man-hater just yet. She also tells the magazine, "I've always got on better with boys. Most of my friends are boys. Like, if I ever have children, I want five boys. Boys love their mothers whereas girls can be so mean to each other."

Ooh, do we hear another hit song, this time about bitchy girls, in the works? We wonder how those lyrics would go!
