My family and I are delighted to be celebrating the Spring Festival here in China. We are well familiar with the importance of this time of year when people throughout the country returned to their "Lao Jia" to meet their family and friends, and renew ties of hearts and home. My family and I will be visiting Beijing's famous temple fairs, eating candy hawthorn and enjoying the fireworks.
我的家人和我很高兴在中国这里庆祝春节。我们非常熟悉一年中这个时候的重要性，当全国各地的人们返回他们的老家，与家人和朋友见面，重续家庭生活纽带的时候。我的家人和我将访问北京的著名庙会，品蜜饯山楂，并享受烟花。
As we start the year of the Tiger, I look forward to continuing to strengthen the US-China relationship. In the coming year, we hope to welcome President Hu Jintao to the United States and to continue positive and cooperative practices the next round of the Strategic Economic Dialogue. I'm committed to ensuring that the cooperation between our two countries will enhance the bilateral relationship and meet the challenges currently facing the global community.
