Fire rage in Arizona and California
In the United States, hundreds of firefighters continue to battle blazes in Arizona and California.

In Arizona, a fire raging in the town of Crown King is sweeping across dry terrain, as firefighters' battle to control the blaze. The fire has scorched more than 5,000 acres and destroyed at least seven buildings, but no injuries were reported.

In California, a fire near the tourist town of Big Sur is continuing to grow, with just 3 percent contained by Tuesday.
