Heavy fog envelops southern China

Heavy fog has enveloped much of southern china, forcing the closure of highways and delaying flights across four provinces.

In the port city of Wuhu, ships have had to stop sailing due to poor visibility along the Yangtze River.

Visibility in parts of Anhui was down to just 20 meters. Traffic police have taken emergency road safety measures.
