600 toy export licenses cancelled
More than 600 Chinese toy makers have had their export licenses revoked to ensure product quality. The State Administration for Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, made the announcement on Monday.
The administration said it had inspected all 3000-plus toy exporting manufacturers during a campaign which began last August. The four-month crackdown on product safety came in response to a spate of food and toy scares.
The quality watchdog has also ordered toy makers to set up complete quality testing systems. All toys, even those that are made based on designs and standards by importers, are subjected to safety checks.
The administration also believes that the overall quality of Chinese-made toys will be further improved and said that the safety of toys exports will be guaranteed. 【已有很多网友发表了看法,点击参与讨论】【对英语不懂,点击提问】【英语论坛】【返回首页】
