Boao Forum preparations completed

In south China's Hainan Province, preparations for the 2008 Boao Forum for Asia have been completed. The Forum is set to open this weekend.

In south China's Hainan Province, preparations for the 2008 Boao Forum for Asia have been completed. The Forum is set to open this weekend.

The main conference hall's lighting system is similar to that of the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. But here in Hainan, advanced lightbulbs are saving energy. Specially trained staff have spent two months getting ready to serve guests from across Asia.

This year's conference will be the largest since the meeting was first held in 2002. About 2000 participants are expected to attend.
