Quake donations top 3 bln yuan

The Ministry of Civil Affairs says donors from China and abroad have pledged 3.2 billion yuan, or about 454 million US dollars' worth of money and aid materials to quake victims.

Individual Chinese and organizations have donated nearly 2.6 billion yuan, while foreign governments and international organizations have contributed 580 million yuan in cash and goods.
