Guangdong starts booking Taiwan tours

With the opening of Taiwan tourism to mainland travellers drawing closer, south China's Guangdong province has kicked off pre-booking services for Taiwan travel packages.

5 local travel agencies are officially approved to sell tours to Taiwan. And market reaction has proved to be very hot, with more than 6 thousand people registering to find out more about these tours.

Currently, most packages are 8-day tours of the entire island. Special itineraries covering local cultural sites and hot springs are also available. Tour prices range from 6 thousand to more than 10 thousand yuan.
