Russia seeks better European relations

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev says he's worried about misunderstandings between Europe and Russia on several key issues. Medvedev's comments follow a meeting in Berlin with German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

Medvedev emphasized that Moscow enjoys close ties with Berlin. He also says he'll work with Merkel to remove obstacles to the construction of a key pipeline to bring natural gas from Russia to Germany.
