More Tibetan separatists arrested in Nepal

Nepali police have detained some 550 Tibetans for carrying out anti-China activities in the Nepali capital Kathmandu.

Around 100 protestors, who are seeking so-called "Tibet independence," blocked traffic and shouted anti-China slogans Sunday afternoon in front of the visa office of the Chinese embassy in Nepal. Most of them were arrested.

According to the embassy, some Tibetans in Nepal have been launching anti-China protests almost daily since mid-March. The embassy says such protests have severely disturbed its normal working order. On Saturday, Nepali police also detained over 450 Tibetan separatists who were holding similar activities in the country's capital.
