Shanghai ups CNG price

Shanghai authorities say they are raising the price of Compressed Natural Gas to a new level of 4.70 yuan per liter. Global fuel prices have been rising steadily since the start of the year.

And the Shanghai Municipal Development and Reform Commission says it's making adjustments to ease the hardships facing local suppliers. But it has also stressed that taxi drivers will get subsidies in order to offset higher fuel costs.
