Beijing: Down payment drops 10%

The Beijing Municipal Government has developed another preferential policy for low-income home buyers. The government is encouraging buyers to use the public housing fund.

For homes 90 square meters or smaller, home buyers only have to put 10 percent down if they use the public housing fund.

The local government has also simplified paperwork to help consumers finish the public housing fund application in as little as a day.
