PBOC: Inflation should ease for summer
Inflation in China is likely to ease a little in the Summer months, but there will still be some pressure from higher fuel and commodity prices. That's according to the head of the Central Bank who was speaking on the sidelines of the AGM for the Bank for International Settlements.
Zhou Xiaochuan says a plentiful harvest and policies to ensure stable supplies should help bring down growth rates in the Consumer Price Index a general barometer for inflation.
