China to advance bilateral relations with US
Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi has met with US President George W. Bush at the White House. Yang says China is willing to work with the US to follow the direction set by the presidents of the two countries for advancing bilateral relations.

Bush says the US is committed to maintaining the favorable momentum of US-China relations.
On human rights and religion issues, Yang says China would like to exchange views with the US on the basis of equality, mutual respect and non-interference in each other's domestic affairs.
