Olympic Village to open in July

The Olympic Village in Beijing is set to open for athletes and officials on July 27th, almost two weeks ahead of the official opening of the Summer Olympics. This is according to organizers who spoke to reporters at a regular press conference on Tuesday.

An Olympic Village is a complex reserved exclusively for athletes and accompanying officials. And Beijing's Olympic Village is located in the northern part of the city, near the National Stadium also known as the "Bird's Nest".
