At last, the uniforms for the torch bearers have been revealed they'll be decked out in a pattern of phoenix and clouds.

The torch bearer's uniform combines white with Chinese red. The phoenix demonstrates Chinese culture is ready to fly.

The red was changed into blue on the uniforms of the escort runners.

In addition to uniforms, the image design of the torch relay also includes the torch, the convoy and chartered aircraft, the backdrop, and the city itself.

The lanterns that will be part of the relay were also unveiled. Their inspiration comes from traditional lanterns in ancient Chinese palaces.
