Manchester United thrash feeble Arsenal 4-0
English Football Association Cup, a big fifth round match saw Manchester United rout ten-man Arsenal 4-0 on Saturday. Meanwhile, English Championship side Barnsley pulled off a major shock with a dramatic 2-1 victory over Liverpool.

(Reuters) | Despite the midweek Champions League match, United did not hold anything back. Wayne Rooney headed-in the opening goal in the 16th minute. Three minutes later, Manchester United doubled. Darren Fletcher picked up Luis Nani's shot to head it home for United. Eight minutes later, Nani himself scored with a low drive to make it 3-0.
The situation went from bad to worse for Arsenal. Emmanuel Eboue was shown a straight red card for this clumsy challenge. United eventually completed their rout when Fletcher headed home his second goal of the match to make it 4-0, a great result for Sir Alex Ferguson, coaching in his 100th F-A Cup match.
Barnsley stun Livepoor 2-1
Another match between Barnsley and Liverpool turned out to be a big shock. Liverpool striker Dirk Kuyt gave the hosts the lead in the 32nd minute. But Barnsley struck back with Steve Foster's equalizer early in the second half.
