The annual Golden Eagle TV Festival is one of the most mainstream TV events in China. Under the umbrella of the festival there are forums, a script trade fair and an awarding ceremony. This year over 700 TV productions were in competition.
China continues to embrace a buoyant market for TV programs. Organizers of the script trade fair received some 460 scripts, much more than last year. Scripts came from 31 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions on the Chinese mainland, and even from overseas Chinese.
Australian Chinese said, "I got to know about the trade fair on the net. I submitted my work in late July. It was not long before I was told that my work got nominated. It was exciting news."
Last year's most popular TV dramas were given honor at the festival. Top awards went to "Golden Wedding", "Struggle" and "The Ming Dynasty". 【已有很多网友发表了看法,点击参与讨论】【对英语不懂,点击提问】【英语论坛】【返回首页】
