Chinese president congratulates Musharraf on re-election

Chinese President Hu Jintao has sent a message to Pervez Musharraf, congratulating him on his re-election as Pakistan's president.

Hu said that Pakistan is China's good friend, neighbor, partner and brother. Hu expressed China's willingness to join hands with Pakistan to further promote their mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields. Musharraf said Pakistan won't forget the political and financial support China has provided.

He noted that the two countries have forged all-round cooperation in various fields. Musharraf said he will continue to value the ties between the two nations and will further promote cooperation in his term as president.
