State Council approves holiday draft
The State Council has approved, in principle, a draft plan to adjust the national holiday system in China, and revamp the status of paid leave. Final versions will be formally announced after further revisions.
The draft plan was first made available for public discussion early last month proposing that three traditional festivals be granted national holiday status, and that the May Day golden week be replaced by a one-day holiday.
The plan also revises earlier regulations on paid leave, it's asking that those who work for government bodies, civil organizations, enterprises, and public-service institutions be allowed to take paid vacation, if they've been working for the same employer for at least a year. 【已有很多网友发表了看法,点击参与讨论】【对英语不懂,点击提问】【英语论坛】【返回首页】
