Spain arrests 14 terrorist suspects

Spanish police have arrested 14 terrorist suspects in an operation in Barcelona.

Authorities say they have evidence the suspects, 12 Pakistani nationals and two Indians, were plotting a terrorist attack. Police found four timers in some of the suspects' homes.

The Interior Ministry says they were tipped off by several European intelligence agencies, and more arrests could happen. Spanish police have stepped up anti-terrorism operations since the 2004 train bombings in Madrid, which killed 191 people.
