Chinese embassy opens in Malawi

Chinese and Malawian diplomats opened the Chinese embassy in Malawi on Saturday, after the establihsment of diplomatic ties last month.

Chinese Assistant Foreign Minister Zhai Jun met with Malawian President Bingu Wa Mutharika. The Malawian president expressed satisfaction with the developing relations with China, and emphasized the his government's willingness to adhere to the one China policy.
