China's share markets got a much-needed boost on Monday, with two new stock funds going on sale. |
This is after the Jiangxin Fund from CCB Principal Asset Management, and the Nanfangshengyuan fund launched by China Southern received regulatory approval early this month. Nanfangshengyuan is expected to raise 6 to 8 billion yuan. While Jiangxin is estimated to raise 4 to 6 billion yuan.
China's securities watchdog suspended the launch of new funds late last year in an effort to cool down a surging stock market. But the 2 new funds mark an end to a 5 month freeze. Many think this could signal a turnaround for the government. They think it might be trying to boost equity markets that have been tracking downwards in the last few months. 【已有很多网友发表了看法,点击参与讨论】【对英语不懂,点击提问】【英语论坛】【返回首页】
