Iran calls UN report a "victory"

Iran's chief nuclear negotiator has called the UN nuclear watchdog report a victory for Iran. Saeed Jalili said the recently released IAEA document proves again that Iran was honest about the peaceful nature of its nuclear activities.

He said the report shows there's no connection between Iran's nuclear drive and any arms program. He repeated that Iran's nuclear work is a peaceful effort to produce electricity to export more oil and gas.

Tehran has expressed a willingness to continue cooperating with the IAEA to focus on negotiations of nuclear rights.
