Villagers in Yingxiu wait for help

Our reporter Han Bin has visited Yingxiu town in one of the worst earthquake-stricken areas in Sichuan Province. He tells us that the struggle to search and rescue survivors of the quake in remote areas, and care for their urgent post-earthquake needs is far from over.

Wu Zehui, villager in Yingxiu Town, said, "When she crawled out, I was crying for her survival."

Yang Yunqiu, villager in Yingxiu Town, said, "We need clean water, food and medicine. My child needs medical treatment as well."
