KMT delegation arrives in Nanjing
A Kuomintang delegation from Taiwan, led by the party's chairman, Wu Poh-hsiung, has arrived in Nanjing, the capital of Jiangsu province. The delegates are paying a six-day visit to the mainland at the invitation of the CPC Central Committee and General Secretary Hu Jintao.

Wu Poh-hsiung said he hopes his visit will help restart cross-strait dialogue. During his trip, Wu Poh-hsiung will also visit Beijing and Shanghai. He is scheduled to visit the Sun Yat-sen mausoleum in Nanjing tomorrow morning, and then fly to Beijing, where he will hold talks with Hu Jintao, discussing ways to promote mutually beneficial cooperation.
Also on the agenda will be the launching of more cross-strait charter flights and the promotion of mainland tourists to Taiwan.
