Li Changchun visits quake photo exhibition

Senior Party leader Li Changchun has visited a photo exhibition about the May 12th Wenchuan earthquake and the ensuing rescue and relief work.

The photos are on display at the Military Museum in Beijing. Hundreds of pictures chronicling the suffering of the people and rescue and relief efforts are being shown.

Looking at the pictures, Li Changchun, member of the Standing Committee of the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee, says he is deeply moved by the courage and spirit of Chinese people. He also says with the continuing efforts of the whole country, the Chinese people will fully recover from the deadly disaster.
