Fighting breaks out again in Lebanon
Sporadic fighting broke out among rival factions on Monday in eastern Lebanon's Bekaa Valley.
Four people were injured in the gun-battle which took place in the village of Saadnayel. Houses and buildings were also damaged in the fighting, which lasted several hours before the Lebanese army intervened. The clashes have raised questions about the fragile political situation in the country.
An Arab-mediated deal signed last month got Lebanon's US-backed parliament majority and the Hezbollah-led opposition to agree to form a national unity government. The deal is aimed at stopping a political crisis which had escalated into violence and pushed Lebanon to the brink of a new civil war.
