Passenger train resumes on Bao-cheng Line

The Baoji-Chengdu Railway resumes passenger transportation on Sunday after it was damaged by the May 12th quake. The Bao-Cheng Railway is considered the main artery connecting China's Northwest with the Southwest.

A tunnel of the line collapsed during the disastrous earthquake. After rushed repairs, the line resumed operations for cargo trains only on May 24th. And now, after more repairs, experts say the line is safe for passenger trains.
