With only 188 days - and counting - until Europe's elite prepare to do battle, preparations are already well advanced. All the tournament stadiums are fully operational, and the Chief Operating Officer for the tournament is not expecting any major problems to arise - but he guarding against complacency before the big tournament.
Martin Kallen said, "I have to say we are very well on track for the moment. We have achieved more or less our milestones we wanted to achieve at this moment and there is really not a lot of open points for this moment. But as you know we are an event organiser and it can come tomorrow and we have suddenly something on our table we have not thought or came again. But for the moment the works are going according to schedule."
