Netherlands, Italy, Romania and France in Euro 2008 ´group of death´

The draw for the 2008 European Championship has been made in Lucerne, Switzerland. The Netherlands, Italy, Romania and France all find themselves together in Group C, the so-called "Group of Death".

After a simple but elegant performance, the draw got underway amid huge anticipation. In Group A, hosts Switzerland will face the Czech Republic, Portugal and Turkey. The latter two teams considered the stronger of the group.

In Group B, Germany look to have few worries about advancing to the knockout stage as they will play co-hosts Austria, as well as Croatia and Poland.
