Music highlights of 2007

In music, 2007 was a year of reunions. Groups that broke up years ago, got together again. Some even went on world tour. Let's take a look at some of the year's musical highlights.

In Europe, used-to-be boyband "Take That" got together again. The collaboration produced a successful album and tour. More music industry reunions were to come.

The most successful girl band of all time, the "Spice Girls", reunited. Their tour was a hit and it was profitable. Geri Halliwell, Ginger Spice, teamed up with her old group for the first time since 1998.

The girls kicked off their world tour in Vancouver early in December. They arrived back where the band had its beginnings, in the UK, a couple of weeks later.

Another top-selling band of the 1990s, the "Backstreet Boys", had its reunion. "The Police" hit the road. And platinum record owners "Boyzone" plan a tour in 2008.
