Macao closes draw for Olympic tickets

As the Beijing Olympic Games approach, people are paying more attention to the sales of tickets for the opening and closing ceremonies. The Macao SAR has held the latest lucky draw for the ticket sales, and confirmed the winners for 10 tickets for the opening ceremony and 13 tickets for the closing ceremony.

The lucky viewers were selected from nearly 400 applicants. So far, all the tickets for opening and closing ceremonies are booked. Macao has been accepting public applications for the tickets since May 2006.

The SAR held its first lucky draw on September 3rd, and confirmed 19 tickets. Under the rules of the Beijing Olympic organizers, the overseas sales of tickets are handled by local Olympic committees.
