Chinese natives greet Olympics flame

As the Olympic torch was being passed through Buenos Aires, many local Chinese expressed great passion to welcome the Olympic flame, lining up on the streets to watch the torch relay.

Chinese immigrants added a special flavour to Argentina's capital city. They held red flags and banners with slogans supporting the Olympic Games that will start in Beijing on August 8.

Some 60,000 Chinese people live in this South American country, most of them in Buenos Aires and the metropolitan zone. Many of them brought out their whole family, including only months old babies, to cheer for the torch relay and the Beijing Olympic Games.
