Hamilton fastest in Canadian GP practice
Lewis Hamilton set the fastest time in second practice at the Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal on Friday.
Felipe Massa was quickest in the morning session, and was going well in the afternoon, before suffering a mysterious mechanical failure in his Ferrari 15 minutes from the end of the session. Massa, who was disqualified from last year's race, still managed to set the fifth fastest time.
Defending world champion Kimi Raikkonen was last out of the pits, and tussled with his Ferrari team-mate Massa for much of the afternoon. His time of 1 minute 16.023 looked like it might be fastest, but was eventually third best.
Robert Kubica came in with a great last lap for BMW Sauber to beat Raikkonen's time by 0.07 seconds. The Pole is in good form, following his second place in Monaco.
Hamilton was held up by the yellow flags following Massa's mechanical failure. But, when the flags stopped waving, he stepped up to lap the circuit on his 42nd and final lap of the session to take provisional pole. 【已有很多网友发表了看法,点击参与讨论】【对英语不懂,点击提问】【英语论坛】【返回首页】
